The third frond ,when attached to the two other fronds, appears to produce white angular bowls, which, initially, are difficult to detach from the Frond itself:

The Third Frond has produced what looks like a WHITE ANGULAR BOWL (a PLATE from now on). Carter is pulling on it, trying to
detach it from the Frond with no luck.

A plate can have six flower handles attached to it. Attaching six flower handles causes the PLATE to detach from the Frond.

The plates are subsequently attached to the torso of a chorus. This in turn produces a tube. The chorus uses the tubes to build a platform.
